Restoration Church of Christ

Who We Are

Restoration Church of Christ is a nondenominational congregation dedicated to living the calling of Christ to restore all people to a relationship with God and their community. We are an LGBTQIA+ inclusive fellowship. We gather to praise God, to study the Word together, and to encourage one another's spiritual growth.

We especially support those who have been harmed by toxic religion. We denounce systems of dominance and exclusion and all forms of hierarchy including patriarchy and heteronormitivity.

The church of Christ is a place for questions. Everyone is welcome and no one is judged.

Some Words to Live By

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed  by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

- Romans 12:2

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

- 1 John 4:7-8

For the Word of God is not hidden from you, neither is it beyond your reach. It is not in heaven that you should say, who will ascend to heaven and bring it back? Neither is it beyond the sea that you should say, who will cross the sea and bring it back? But God's Word is very near, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

- Deuteronomy 30:11-14

What use is it if someone says they have faith, but do nothing with it? Does that faith lead to salvation? Suppose someone is without clothes and food. If one says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith without action is worthless.

- James 2:14-17

All of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death. We were buried with him through baptism. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united also with him in a resurrection to new life.
